Meet Koala Krunch – A snack brand kids love and parents trust.
Koala Krunch is all about bringing deliciously healthy snacks to kids and teenagers. Their Crunchy Fruits snacks combine intense, natural fruit flavors with an irresistible, satisfying crunch; completely free from additives, preservatives, and added sugar. With a product this fun and wholesome, Koala Krunch needed packaging to match: bright, inviting, and bursting with personality.
CHALLENGE
Capturing Flavor, Crunch, and Fun!
Our goal: create packaging designs as lively as the snacks themselves. The biggest creative challenge was to find the right visual language that would appeal to a younger audience while still conveying trust and natural quality to their parents.
We wanted the design to scream “fun” and “flavor explosion” while highlighting the real fruit and health-conscious message. During the design phase, we explored a wide range of visual styles and packaging concepts; from playful 3D fruit environments to minimalist illustrated versions. Each concept tested different ways to express crunch, freshness, and excitement.

Bold Flavors Meet Bold Designs!
We landed on a trio of vibrant, energetic packaging styles that deliver a consistent but flexible identity across the Koala Krunch range.
Each flavor got its own distinct visual identity: fresh green for pure Apple, fiery red for Apple-Pineapple-Strawberry, and sunny yellow for Apple-Pineapple-Physalis. Bold, chunky fonts and a mischievous koala mascot add personality and playfulness, while fruit illustrations and punchy slogans like “Krunch it!” celebrate the product’s natural appeal.
This final direction struck the perfect balance between youthful fun and clear communication of health-focused values: 100% fruit, vegan, and nothing extra.
